I never had a gigabyte motherboard, this was the first one i bought because i bought all the marketing hype and it seemed like people were saying it was a good board. It came with the F3 bios which is the latest non-beta bios available on their website. I had a ex58-UD5 which is pretty close to that board. It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version.
